The CO1224TR is a hardwired carbon monoxide detector that can be used with any hardwired alarm system. These should be placed near any appliance that uses gas and most often near bedrooms as well for early detection. The CO1224 has a 10 year end-of-life timer that will let you know when it needs replacing. This also features the RealTest feature that will let you do a real time test using canned CO. The CO1224TR can be used on systems that operate on either 12 or 24 volts. This is a low current draw device and draws 20 mA in standby and 40 mA in alarm. This can be mounted on the wall or the ceiling depending on your application and it has a built-in piezo sounder that will issue an 85 dB tone when the CO detector senses carbon monoxide. The CO1224TR measures 6.0 inches in diameter and is 1.3 inches thick. It weighs 11 ounces.
