Electromechanical Relays

An Electromechanical Relay works by making a simple switch action, using an electromagnet and a set of contacts. Electromechanical relays helped in the development of making the modern computer what it is today because of its relationship to “on = 1 ” and “off = 0” commonly known as Boolean Logic .
