OTP ROMs

OTP ROMs (One Time Programmable) are a type of EPROM.

EPROMs are erasable while OTP ROMs are not. OTP ROMs allow data to be loaded one time and then can not be erased.

OTP ROMs are commonly made out of plastic which makes them cheaper than EPROMs that are made out of standard ceramic packages.
